The 15th edition of the Occupational Health and Safety Forum took place on 26 October 2022 and welcomed nearly 1,500 visitors. Through workshops and exhibition stands, some one hundred occupational health and safety stakeholders in Luxembourg have exchanged views with companies and designated workers who came to get information and training.
The Forum was organised by the initiators of the VISION ZERO: the Association Assurance Accident (AAA), the Luxembourg Employers Association (UEL) and the National Institute for Sustainable Development and CSR (INDR).
During the opening session, UEL President Michel Reckinger underlined UEL and its members’ investment in the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases through the support of the national strategy of VISION ZERO. “It is important to act together to achieve the new VISION ZERO objectives. A sectoral risk analysis (in collaboration with the Accident Insurance Association (AAA), UEL, the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Trades) is underway and will allow the identification of targeted actions”, he declared.
The UEL also congratulates all the winners of the Occupational Health and Safety Prize: Cocottes, Sodexo, Syrdall Schwemm and Ceratizit.
Today, more than 230 companies have already committed to the VISION ZERO strategy.
