DUOday – Inclusion starts with a duo

The next DUOday will take place on 20 May 2021.

This awareness day allows companies to discover the skills of people with disabilities and to communicate its social values. A disabled person selected by the National Employment Agency ADEM can thus discover the work environment and, if possible, start a path to rehabilitation and autonomy.

In practice, companies open their doors to a disabled person. A volunteer employee then creates a DUO with this person in order to allow him or her to actively participate in his or her usual professional tasks and/or to observe his or her work.

INDR and UEL support this joint initiative of ADEM, the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region and the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy.
