Advance on the reimbursement of special leave for family reasons

In the context of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the government has decided to grant the parent who has to look after his or her child special leave for family reasons.

In order to reduce the time needed by employers to reimburse the special leave, the Centre commun de la sécurité sociale (CCSS) will make an advance payment that can be transferred directly to the employer’s bank account. In this context, we would like to draw the attention of the companies concerned to the fact that they have been sent a letter from the CCSS detailing the arrangements for receiving the advance payment for leave on family grounds.
