UEL actively works to promote a modern, attractive working environment that fosters business competitiveness.
Businesses are operating in an increasingly uncertain environment, marked by international upheavals and profound changes in the labour market, linked in particular to globalisation, digitalisation, new technologies and demographic ageing. They must also respond to the changing expectations of their stakeholders, particularly customers and employees, while facing economic, technological and organisational challenges that often impact employment and the work organisation.
In this context, businesses need a clear legal and administrative framework that is adapted to the new realities, enabling them to anticipate changes, innovate, invest and leverage skills and talent engagement.
Working Group
As a national social partner, UEL maintains a constant dialogue with the relevant authorities. Together with its members and within the “Employment and Labour Relations” working group, UEL develops concrete and cross-cutting positions and proposals to support these developments, particularly in the area of labour law.
