Cette rencontre a permis \u00e0 l\u2019UEL de rappeler les \u00e9quilibres sur lesquels repose le mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique luxembourgeois et de pr\u00e9senter les d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi, de fiscalit\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale que le Luxembourg devra relever pour relancer l\u2019\u00e9conomie et r\u00e9sorber le d\u00e9ficit budg\u00e9taire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de l\u2019UEL, compos\u00e9e de son Directeur Jean-Paul Olinger, du Pr\u00e9sident de son GT Affaires \u00e9conomiques Carlo Thelen et de son Chief Economist Nicolas Simons, a rencontr\u00e9 la Rapportrice du projet de loi budg\u00e9taire 2024. Cet \u00e9change a confirm\u00e9 l\u2019importance de mener une politique ambitieuse de relance \u00e9conomique pour r\u00e9\u00e9quilibrer les finances publiques, tout en ma\u00eetrisant notamment l\u2019\u00e9volution des d\u00e9penses de fonctionnement de l\u2019\u00c9tat et les d\u00e9penses de protection sociale au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet de budget affichant des d\u00e9ficits consid\u00e9rables et permanents jusqu\u2019en 2027, l\u2019UEL a insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de contenir la hausse du co\u00fbt du travail pour permettre aux entreprises de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de la mati\u00e8re imposable, d\u2019investir dans les transitions digitale et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de moderniser le droit du travail. Le levier fiscal devra lui aussi \u00eatre activ\u00e9 pour permettre au Luxembourg de renforcer sa comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9, de d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles activit\u00e9s et d\u2019attirer et fid\u00e9liser les talents. Le projet de budget pluriannuel est le premier qui indique un d\u00e9passement (en 2027) de la prime de r\u00e9partition pure par rapport au taux actuel de cotisation de pension de 24%.
